Once Human traverse actuellement une période particulièrement chargée depuis sa sortie sur PC en juillet 2024. Entre une mise à jour majeure, une refonte complète de son système de progression et l’annonce très attendue d’une bêta sur consoles, Starry Studio a clairement décidé de passer à la vitesse supérieure. Voici tout ce qu’il faut savoir sur le jeu en ce mois de mars 2026.
La mise à jour 2.3.4 est disponible et prépare le terrain pour quelque chose d’encore plus important.

La mise à jour 2.3.4 a été déployée le 11 mars après une maintenance programmée débutant à 4h00 (heure du Pacifique) et durant environ deux heures. À première vue, il s’agit d’une mise à jour classique : corrections de bugs, ajustements d’équilibrage, amélioration des butins de mods. This is probably the most impactful news of the month for regular players. Starry Studio acknowledged that the current blueprint system is too restrictive, too complex and difficult for new players to understand, largely because of the fragment-pulling mechanic tied to the Wish Machine. Starting with the March 25 patch, blueprints will be unlockable directly from the Blueprint screen using Starchrom, with no need to pull and combine fragments. Both weapons and armor will be available this way, at a variable cost depending on the item type. Steam Community
The Wish Machine is not going away permanently. It will be taken offline after March 25 and relaunched in a revised form on April 22. In its new version, it will offer rewards tied to in-game activities rather than consuming Starchrom. The console closed beta opens March 26
This is the announcement many players have been waiting for. Once Human is launching a closed beta on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X and S for North America and Europe. Pre-download starts March 24 at 7:00 PM PT, servers go live on March 26 and close on April 9. DayOne

The scenario featured during the beta is Manibus. Players who reach level 20 during the test period will earn the Abyssal Dragon Set and the Dragon Dance-KAM cosmetic as permanent rewards. Cross-play is confirmed from day one of the beta. The console release will make Once Human fully cross-platform, allowing players on console, PC and mobile to share the same servers under the same account. What the rest of 2026 has in store

Once Human aborde mars 2026 avec un développement constant et indéniable. La refonte du système de progression répond à l’une des principales critiques de la communauté. La bêta sur consoles annonce une réelle expansion de la base de joueurs. Et la feuille de route annuelle témoigne d’un studio qui sait où il veut mener le jeu, plutôt que de réagir au coup par coup.
